How do I burn my download to a DVD?

To burn your download to a DVD you must first have a computer that can burn DVD's.

If you do, then you will need to save your download to your computer.

Please try these steps to download and save your video:

  1. Go to your My Orders page: http://sendables.jibjab.com/my_account/my_orders
  2. Click on the order number
  3. Right click on the Download button
  4. Select Save Link As...
  5. Choose where on your computer you want to save it (Ex: Desktop)
  6. Click the Save button

Once you have saved your download to your computer, you will then be able to burn your DVD using your DVD burning software of choice.

We like the DVD software CD Burner XP which is free to download at the following link:

For MAC's:

In order to burn to a DVD on a MAC, it sometimes works better to first convert the file to MP4 which is more MAC friendly.

1. Download the appropriate -- Windows or Mac -- free "MPEG Streamclip" software here:
http://www.squared5.com/

2. Find the "MPEG_Streamclip" file that was just downloaded and open it

3. Open the file "MPEG_Streamclip.exe"

4. In the MPEG Streamclip software, click 'File' > 'Open Files' and then find and select the downloaded JibJab video file you want to convert (it will have an .mp4 at the end of it)

5. Click 'File' > 'Export to MPEG-4'

6. On the 'Exporter' screen that pops up, leave all settings unchanged and click the 'Make MP4' button at the bottom right

7. Choose where on your computer you want the converted file to go, enter a new 'File name' (leaving the .mp4 at the end) and then click the 'Save' button

8. The video will then go through the conversion process

When the video has been converted, you will then need to move it in to your iTunes:

1. Open iTunes
2. Click 'File' > 'Add File to Library', find and select the converted .mp4 video file and then click the 'Open' button
3. Your video will then be added and you can find it in the 'Movies' section in your 'Library'

Please note, these files can only be burned to DVD, they are not formatted to burn as a VCD.  Please check your DVD manual for what kind of DVD’s it is able to read.
